However, their result showing algorithms are different. Some controversial and unique differences also exist in these two search engines- the former one is a popular search engine and the latter one is a growing search engine.

DuckDuckGo is a private search engine. It does not track users. It is a marketing strategy for DuckDuckGo. DuckDuckGo shows organic search results to users. Organic search result implies that all pages are indexed based on the search term and the context of the websites along and ranking position of them according to how well these two parameters match.DuckDuckGo does not maintain users' profiles.
Filter Bubble Result
Google shows over-personalizing search results to users. On the other side, DuckDuckGo does not have a filter bubble. It shows organic search results to users from over 400 sources including big search engines Bing, Yahoo and Yandex, and DuckDuckGo web crawlers.
Mapping Location
In case of searching for a place, Google provides a "Google Map" feature to users. On the contrary, DuckDuckGo serves several options to users such as "Bing Maps", "Google Maps", "HERE Maps", and "OpenStreetMap".
